Pros (+) This is a beautiful property with very good rooms, top service at the front desk, very good restaurants, and excellent service all around.
Cons (-) My only complaint was that there was no electric plug on one side of the bed.

Pros (+) We had an exceptionally understanding and friendly receptionist. The room was a great size and they were able to extend our stay with no fuss. I was able to have a special meal made to meet my diet requirements via room service

Pros (+) The ambiance, feeling of History, cleanliness and orderliness Breakfast was freshly made and delicious Service in the bar was exceptional. We had a luncheon function at the castle. It was superb. + 100 people and the food was delicious and hot.

Pros (+) The ambience of this hotel is really unique and magical. The food is delicious and good value. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that you need to think about transport in and out of Dublin city centre but there is a dart station about 17 min walk away and local bus services.
Cons (-) 104 bus transport from Clontarf station to hotel stops at 9.10pm

Cons (-) We thought the rooms were in the castle, but they are in an addition adjacent to the castle. Also, the lobby and restaurants were full of business meetings most of the time. Felt a bit like staying in a hotel next to a castle-restaurant-conference center.
