We loved our stay at Cliffside boutique hotel. Waking up to that view and wave sounds is priceless. Paulo and Gerson made us feel comfortable and were of great care. Thank you for the warm welcome and arrangement. It is definitely one of the highlights in my experience in Rio. You guys have a magic place. I would definitely recommend it and will come back. Cliffside is a one of a kind architectural and design marvel, with an unbelievable view and very attentive and kind staff. The in house chef and spa services were lovely. If you are looking to unplug someplace gorgeous hidden away from the typical tourist experience, then this is the place for you.
The property/home a bit hidden in a luxury gated community. That makes the area safe, but it also makes it a bit hard to find and get to. I had several Ubers cancel on me or tell me they wouldn’t pick me up/drop me off there.
How about a stay in an architectural icon, a place deeply steeped in local music history, an oasis of calm and impeccable service. All this you will find at Cliffside. Every single staff member was amazing, the place is super clean, has some of the best views in town, and is quiet and tranquil. The food is amazing, and you wont need to stick to a given schedule. Everything was perfect! The house, the location, the view, the privacy, the team working there - the host and the chef are stars. Absolutely stunning place, we highly recommend!
I normally do not give reviews. But the Cliffside Hotel was a very special and extraordinary place to stay, calm with a great view and you will only hear the waves (and some helicopters passing by ;-) ). The food was incredible.
My sunglasses disappeared at this hotel. We were here for one night only and I wore them while we were watching sunset from the rooftop deck. No one contacted me saying they were found so I have a suspicion they were stolen by one of the staff.
Very peacefull and confortable hotel. The food was excepcional and The service was top notch. They even put The dinner Tablet at our balcony
