Fabulous, beautiful hotel in the most peaceful location. Wonderful gardens and a beautiful pool, delicious food and the hosts Catherine and Yves are super attentive and kind. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting some p&q on a trip through France.
We liked everything!
The meal in the restaurant was exceptional. We tried the local caviar, had amazing wine pairings, and everything was exquisite! We got the family room, with our daughter having her room in the tower! It was amazing to have a night in a chateau like this.
We had a superb stay at this chateau. Beautifully presented, exceptionally comfortable and very welcoming host. Super breakfast too.

Wonderful owners and a loverly chateau.
Chateau de LaLande is a little out of the way, but beautifully restored with upholstered walls and lovely gardens. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. Dinner in the garden was lovely, and the food was excellent.
We arrived on a rainy day and thought it was worth trying to check in early. Bat at mid-day there was no one around, only a sign that said come back after 4 p.m. When we returned, I asked whether breakfast was included in the room cost and was told it was. Everything from the tastefully renovated chateau to the excellent food, both breakfast and dinner. The pool area was really good. And at last but not least, the owners are warm and extremely service minded!
Nothing to dislike.
Breakfast, cooked freshly by the owner chef, was pricey but well worth it. It was served either in the beautifully apointed breakfast room, or, weather permitting, in the exquisite courtyard.
Charge for parking, in a rural area, with plentiful room, is probably excessive.
Very friendly staff and great food.
Water only tepid, wi-fi patchy and mattress soft.
We loved everything, the owners, staff and very comfy bed. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Would definitely stay again.
