Pros (+) Excellent location and setting. Close to Bayeux but at the same time set in large tranquil gardens in a small hamlet.
Cons (-) The food was good but the dinner menu was short, which meant that if one stayed more than, say, 2 nights, there was a risk of running out of new choices.

Pros (+) Perfect location for exploring Normandy and then relaxing on the special chateau grounds. Our room was new and quite comfortable.

Pros (+) Chateau St. Gilles is located just outside of the charming town of Bayeux. The hotel is amazing! Beautiful rooms, peaceful grounds, lovely swimming pool and a delicious restaurant. Very easy to get to from the train station and into town. Our kids were welcomed and enjoyed the space to enjoy the fresh air!

Pros (+) Beautiful chateau in peaceful location yet only a few minutes drive to Bayeaux and easy access to all visitor attractions. Enjoyed a very fine meal in the hotel restaurant. Rooms spotless, luxury toiletries. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return!
