A lot of street noise traffic at night No air conditioning
We stayed at Chalet Le Prieure both pre and post our Tour de Mont Blanc hike. Loved the spa which was a great way to spend a couple of hours after the hike.
Check in wasn’t as efficient and fast as we would have hoped for. There was a long queue. No air-conditioning so the rooms were warm.
The location is excellent, the rooms face Mont Blanc, close to the centre of Chamonix and equidistant between the North and South Telecabin/Telepherique up the mountains. Parking is available on site.
This is our second stay at this hotel so we knew what to expect but we were disappointed in one respect. The previous good restaurant with normal waiter service had been replaced with a 'buffet' device arrangement which, quite frankly, didn't work. We think this was an experiment and, judging by the fact that the restaurant was actually closed on our second night, we think that they knew it wasn't...Read more

Location
Staff was not friendly and cold. Parking is expensive & tight space.
The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Chamonix and has spectacular views on the Mont Blanc side of the building. The spa is very nice, including a hammam, hot tub, outdoor sauna and pool. The breakfast was delicious and well presented, including a very diverse selection of local goodies. The staff were professional, efficient and very welcoming.
The pool is too small and shallow for swimming. Also, it was rather annoying to have to wait until 16:00 to check-in, as that meant standing in a line, despite the fact that we had arrived earlier. I understand not being able to go to the room until then, but one should not need to wait to check-in.
Nothing
The first staff is cold and has no smile, as if the customer owes him money; in addition, the hotel cares too much about the customer. For example, many hotels provide free umbrellas for guests to use on rainy days. This hotel does charge a fee, which is quite expensive. There is no air conditioning in summer, the electric fan is small, the wind is not strong, and the hotel is not cost-effective. ...Read more
Great spa facilities and 2 hours free per day which was nice.
Quite pricey for quite basic rooms, but clean and comfy with a warm shower so all in a win.
Excellent location. Has parking, but it’s a bit tight. Pool and outdoor spa area is lovely. Rooms are as advertised/ new and modern
No air conditioning Check in time is 4pm (late) and our room wasn’t even ready at that point. Parking is expensive
