Staff were very welcoming , hotel has a lovely private spa which is in a separate cave room so it’s yours to use privately which we really enjoyed. We booked a time upon arrival for the spa and when we were done our bags were in our room waiting.
Rooms was spectacular with the spa included. Mario and Samir were very accommodating and helpful.
Poor communication to facilitate arrival to the property. We had to walk and climb in Matera with our suitcase. Only a paid parking option was provided and a paid external transfer. Poor service recovery form staff. Female receptionists are too junior and not aware on how to deliver good customer experience expected from 4 starts hotel. Breakfast was good typical European style, view outlook was amazing. location was great ,far enough away from all action yet close enough so everything was easy to get to.
Everything was really great. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff was very nice and helpful! ❤️🇮🇹

Omg this hotel is beautiful 😍 we had the room with spa wow this was amazing. Matera is gorgeous like no other place I've been. Breakfast was great and Mario was delightful always happy to see us. Highly recommend this hotel ♡

The staff were lovely and very attentive and breakfast was very nice - quite a lot of choice and very fresh. The room was beautiful.
It is quite tricky to find and a bit of a walk from the parking. Even if you book a treatment you cannot use the spa without paying extra (same price as if you did not book a treatment).
The best welcome, staffs, facilities, introductions, recommendations, environment, guide, breakfast and so on. You won’t regret to choose this as your stay in Matera.
The room was more than we had dreamed of. The spa bath was amazing after a day climbing the steps of Matera. The private spa was also wonderful. The team looking after us were superb and a huge thanks to Ivana and Samir for all of their help and recommendations.

Beautiful views and room was very comfortable. Driver that picked us up at garage was very helpful. There were a lot of steps to navigate but when visiting a city like Matera that is expected.
