Quality and luxury experience Good staff and good professional standards. Room was great, lovely views over the Chatsworth estate Peaceful and serene. The Cavendish never fails to delight! The view is breathtaking and a short walk across that beautiful view and you are at Chatsworth House, couldn't be easier. Also the Chatsworth Farm Shop only a 5 minute drive away, such lovely things to buy and access to all. It was really pretty and was decorated nicely
The service in the restaurant and on the terrace was EXTREMELY slow. Every drink I had, I had to request to be served. The tables were rarely cleared either and weren’t wiped down. I sat on the terrace and they didn’t come to wipe the table and it was covered in food. It just didn’t feel like anyone was welcome there and we were an inconvenience wanting to be served. Room 18 perfect. Afternoon sandwiches & breakfast perfect.
No access to more comfortable gallery restaurant unless you eat a limited taster menu. Which meant guests packed into a garden room for a la carte. Chairs not comfortable. Ambiance not as nice as gallery.

team were very friendly and polite, however breakfast service was a bit slow, my parents waited around 30 mins for simple cooked breakfast

Rather expensive, but worth it for a special ocassion. Ours a 70th birthday.
