Lovely, spacious, cosy home set in the beautiful countryside, only a 15-20 minute drive to the lake and the medieval town of Sanabria. Jose was extremely attentive to our every need - thank you Jose for making our stay so pleasent and relaxed! 😊
A few minor things the WiFi a little slow and shower water could have been a little hotter. Although Jose was always so attentive and couldn't be more helpful.
Well I liked everything, the place has been recently renewed. The building is divided into three different stays, we stayed in the smallest, which was just a room connected to a nice but small dining room with a tv corner and a kitchen, the toilet was installed in the middle of the stay but they made it so that you could have privacy. Three things I didn't like, first, the automatic message sent after the booking explained more into detail the stay but led to confusion as it also explained how the other two stays where designed and structured. Everything else was exceptional. The reception was excellent and the village is lovely. The apartment far exceeded our expectations. We hope to be back.
The water could have been a bit hotter. A cutting board would be beneficial.
Jose and Teresa are very nice, they gave me a warm welcome and help me to call a taxi from train station to apartment, Teresa give me much food, bread eggs cheese fruits and water, our communication is good by google translate although I don’t know Spanish Teresa don’t know English. Very quiet and peaceful village. Friendly and helpful agent on site. Place was clean and tidy. Fly screen on the window.
It was a studio unit. We thought we had a one bedroom booked. After we had unpacked, the agent offered us a two bedroom unit which we declined as it was really much larger than we needed. There was a hanging rail, but no drawer space for unpacking our suitcases.

Remesal is a very small village.I think there are about 30-40 people living there.Some houses in the village are partly destroyed.Cherry trees are growing around.There are no many places for walking so a car is needed.
