Everything! The ambience is fabulouse and it looks surreal with the interior designs. A well thoight out place. Kudos to the interior designer. The staff were friendly but only one could speak English. The management should consider having a bilingual staff ready to help foreign visitors.
The bathtub and hand sink. It was not washed. I know a washed bathroom when I see one.
I loved everything about the place exactly as seen in the pictures. I was initially given a room I didn't like but they were happy to change it. Everything looks like taking you back to Bridgerton/ 30's luxury. The only regret is that the transportation arrangement from the airport was not properly communicated amongst staff. Also when I called, the person on the phone didn't understand English. I...
The bathroom toilet was tricky maybe it's just me. Then the bathtub looked unwashed so didn't attempt a soak. Aside that everything else looked pristine.Read more
We stayed in a Luxury Queen Room on the top floor that looked out over C. Joaquin Angulo. The room was plenty big enough and had a small balcony. It was a wonderfully "gothic" experience with an anti-room for the wardrobe and our bags. The bathroom was fine albeit with no window. The hotel reception staff were very friendly, ditto the breakfast server. The breakfast was good although basically the...
On the middle day the cleaner forgot to clean our room and replenish the water bottle but they were maybe called away on an emergency? The receptionist gave me replacement water when I went down and explained.Read more
I love the decorations and historic feel to the property.
I would’ve loved if the breakfast included would’ve had more option to select from or even a menu to select from. I would’ve also been nice if there was some kind of pool area but probably not feasible for the space.
Hotel Is beautiful, rooms are very comfortable
Had a bit of a problem with hot water in shower
Check-in was quick and we were allowed to our room 2 hours before the 3pm check in time. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel is a 10 minute walk to the historic centre. It seems to be a very popular place to film, as there was a movie shooting in front the first night, and what seemed like film crews recording commercials in the hotel the second day.
We found the hotel bar, but it was shut down and had a car parked in it. That was unfortunate, because it looked like it could be a very nice bar. We would have liked to have somewhere in the hotel to have refreshments or a snack. We booked a nice large room. It was great with a balcony, high ceilings, wifi, large bathroom. The second night when we arrived back to the hotel, the concierge stopped ...Read more
Historic building near El Centro, very reasonably priced, breakfast included, quiet
Slept well in this quiet, peaceful hotel though bed was dated
Annie on the front desk and the location. The historic architecture was lovely but a bit over done in the rooms.
Noisy, night front desk staff had no clue about the noise he makes and echoes keeping us awake until vary late
The rooms are stunning. Very comfortable and quiet. Great location for walking with lots of food and entertainment nearby. I would definitely recommend it to others.
I can't think of a thing.
A beautiful old mansion turned into a hotel. Rooms are filled with paintings and old furniture. You feel like spending a night at a museum there. The hotel has a rooftop overlooking the Centro and the cathedral.
