Very safe and lovely beach area, hotel with amazing food and great pool and facilities. Quite far from city center if you want to do tourism, about 40 min drive. Close to the airport and ideal to who wants to enjoy the beach or head to Costa Verde.
We had a weird situation when at 6:45 in the morning someone knocked and rang our door saying we had a early check out. As I reached the door, the staff person was already coming in the room with a spar key. Me and my family - including a 2 year old - were asleep and didn’t understand what was going on. My room was very clean upon arrival and incredibly spacious. The bathroom is bright and well designed. I liked the safe for my belonging and the espresso machine. The balcony had the best view of the ocean. They have a massage therapist that comes each night and I melted on her table on my first night after my 25 hour flight! Located very close to the airport, ideal for short stopover. It is designed partly as a literary museum with cultural memorabilia from a local poet. We stayed in the poet suite-museum. Very comfortable and authentic room. Breakfast was delicious and staff genuinely friendly.
The staff were really lovely, professional and welcoming from reception, the restaurant staff, bell boy, maids, waiters etc. The room was spacious and clean, the towels, shampoo, soap, shower gel, bathroom and mini bar provision were lovely, they contacted us to arrange 2 cots which was thoughtful. We liked the playground access, restaurant food and green space. The breakfast buffet was wonderful....
As feedback for improvement only - the check in was arduous as you had to do it on your phone. The bed was quite hard, the pillows rather thin, the fridge turned off easily, our room was a long way from reception/the restaurant so quite a long walk with 2 children under 2 and because my son slightly messed on the bed the first night we had the bed remade which was great but the blanket wasn't repl...Read more

Comfortable and clean rooms, simple design, good air conditioning and WiFi, has all the amenities you need. The common areas are very nicely designed, cosy and very clean. Both pools are clean and warm with plenty of space. The restaurant offers delicious Brazilian cuisine with some Italian fusion, the cocktails are delectable - it’s a must visit when in Salvador. To elevate the experience even more, I can suggest to update the shower heads in the rooms and offer a kit of toiletries, it is expected in a 4 star hotel. Also I found that the common areas are much nicer and cozier than the rooms - I would suggest making the rooms a little more homey and add the same coziness and personality.Read more
