Excellent hotel, courteous and pleasant staff who went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The room is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is excellent. In short — a wonderful experience.

The stile and the cleanliness

The hotel was cozy and clean and well maintained, the staff was helpful and reachable anytime. The location was walking distance from Ortigia and it was easy to park the car around. The breakfast was fantastic!
We experience construction noise early in the morning which was very disruptive but the staff confirmed that it came from outside the hotel, so they couldn't do much about that.
great breakfast, good value at 20?euros. good way to start the day.
Ortigia might have been better locoation simply because we were always walking back and forth across the bridge to reach it for dining, shopping. i didn't like the small beach in town of Ortigia. we found an alternative beach, small pebbles and clear water, ten mins by car from Ortigia, GUESS private beach 50 euros which included two chaises longue and umbrella. good restaurants on the sand.

The amenities were NOT 5 star hotel quality. No gym, no pool, no spa. It was loud. The rooftop terrace was a joke-panoramic view of what? The hot tub/jacuzzi was covered up and it was a filthy cover. Water overflow from plants on terrace present around the pots on the terrace and water had also seeped onto the stairs below-creating a slip/fall hazard. This place needs some love. Hotel: Rooms and hotel rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff was very accomodating and assisted us with taxis. Location: only a 10 minute (or less if your a fast walker) to ortigia.
The staff really made this hotel stay for us. They reached out before we arrived and arranged a transfer to and from the airport, on check in we were given lots of information on the local area and where to explore, they chatted to you at breakfast and were a real credit to the hotel.
