The appartment No. 1 we had was very spacious and nicely decorated.
Unfortunately our appartment was towards Buitengracht Street and incredibly loud, so that we could also hear the noise from all the cars all night although we had earplugs in our ears. We had not really a view, we just saw the roof of the other building.
Great location and a very interesting, historical building. A lot of good restaurants and sights in walking distance, some connected to the hotel. I was a bit concerned about the location and safety of the area since most tourists seem to stay at other areas of the city, but I was extremely happy with my choice. Service is great generally. Saturday evening was a bit noisy with people outside were talking/yelling out loud until 3 am, perhaps coming out of the bars in the vicinity. Breakfast service was at times spotty - with difficulty finding someone to serve coffee.Read more

Pro and con is definitively the location. If you like to party and be close to the heart of action, welcome. If you want to be close to the center but appreciate an early sleep, too, forget it.

The Cape Heritage Hotel is located in a historic building from 1771 and is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. It focuses on art and has rotating artists on display. The courtyard used for breakfast is beautiful and I cannot speak more highly of the staff- they are so friendly, polite and accommodating to all requests. Our room looked out over the back courtyard where a restaurant/bar operates, the noise consistently lasted until 11pm-12am and on the First Thursday of the month it lasted until 2am. We were warned ahead of time (ear plugs in the room!), but it did affect our sleep.Read more

We felt home. Very special place and lovely staff. They kindly arranged a driver / guide for us to show us around in Cape Town. His name is Shuaib. He was extremely knowledgeable, and he drove us to most of the important parts of Cape Town. It was an amazing experience. Made everything very easy for us.
The STAFF need an applause, especially Sam, Hilton and Damford(hope I got his name right), they were so helpful, caring and went over thr top to make sure we were fine and took carw of our needs especially for our little one. The location is a vibe, the courtyard is lovely to to sit during the day or evening to unwind, have a drink ans just chill. Overall a lovely atmosphere and great stay.
Would have been nice to have a good roof top situation, as the Jacuzzi area was not really nice and had clothes drying and stuff.
This beautiful house central location makes it convenient to visit the city, with nice dining options around. It is run by a lovely team. Delicious breakfast!
It is VERY noisy in the nights (bars and restaurants just below the windows!) - we had a poor sleep during our stay over the weekend.
