The hotel has been recently renovated and is really nicely decorated and comfortable. The bar / restaurant is very smart and breakfast was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips of things to do and see during our stay. The room was very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location by the river and very close to the old town.
It was a shame the roof terrace bar wasn't open.

Breakfast is average, coffee is horrible, room should have been cleaner
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waiter at breakfast (Sale) was always in a good mood and even joked around with us. The location is excellent, and everything is easy to reach. Every request was taken care of immediately with a friendly smile, and we never felt like a bother. They also made a great effort to speak German with our German-speaking guests.

One extremely helpful and kind Indonesian lady on reception stood out as being exceptional however all staff happy to help and very pleasant. Staff kindly printed tickets, provided breakfast pack when we had to leave early pre breakfast start time. The hotel had a wedding on the night we stayed - the disco went on late. We were in a room on floor 1 and I felt like I was a guest at the wedding and in the dance room it was so loud. Too noisy, and as a consequence didn’t sleep well. It is very near Beton Hala, a place where the nightlife happens, so if you want to visit Lafayette or similar this is the perfect place to stay. Breakfast was great and a lot of options for every taste, vary happy that they include Serbian style specialities. There is a fridge with a minibar that registers every time you take something out. It is not really a negative comment but would be nice to have another option to store personal stuff cold with more space.Read more
