Clean, friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Lovely selection of food for breakfast
Path from car park to our accommodation was gravel. Difficult to roll suitcases on it. Lady at reception repeatedly asked if we are ok to carry them in the path as she has hurt her back and can’t help us. We found it a little awkward. A concreted path or a pavement suitable for suitcases would have been a solution to this.
Nice house, and beautiful location
Quite a few management weaknesses
Location, gardens and building. Excellent breakfast
Staff excellent! Particularly Veronica on the front desk! Fun, informative and so nice to chat to! She made a fuss of my friend Tom whose birthday it was.
Nothing.
Beautiful setting. Close to picturesque and enchanting walks. Old world setting with charm and character.

Room was great garden room shower bath great lovely location relaxing
Fantastic location. Beautiful park setting . Gracious and welcoming staff. Lovely room. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure. Good bar staffing. We liked all the food choices upstairs and down. Exceptional fruit crumble dessert with gingerbread ice cream.
Coffee. The nespresso makes a ton of noise so if you're up early there really are no coffee choices, until 8?
We had a great stay but our room was not located in the main historic building. That was a bit disappointing. Also, the fire alarm went off one morning and woke us all up. The kids even ran out of the building as they were very scared. The breakfast was plentiful. We could not make a reservation for dinner as they were booked.
