We loved everything about our stay. The grounds are fabulous 👌 Loved the courtyard and the amazing breakfast.
We didn't like the excessive heat in the cottage bedroom. Way too hot. Luckily I was able to turn off the radiators during the night.
The location and surrounding were lovely

Food was good for breakfast and lunch.
Staff made a mess of my bill at the end and charged the wrong card even though I had explained completely and they agreed to my request.

It’s missing a spa
The room itself was beautiful, well decorated and clean, the bed was super comfy. The hotel grounds are also very beautiful. Had all amenities you would expect. Wifi was good.
The reception staff were not very friendly or helpful, they were busy but it seemed very rushed like they were just trying to get rid of us when checking in. The rooms were very noisy, I was in a courtyard room and could hear guests in the room above me (before 6.30am the next day) walking around, flushing the toilet and speaking - I do not expect that from a 5 star hotel. The Room was very spacious and nice.
The checkout was at 11:00, which was the same time breakfast finished. After a wedding, you don't want to go too early for breakfast, and you don't want to rush to leave, but the check-out had to be done before 11, so we had to wake up early enough to pack our bags, empty the room, and lastly go for breakfast.
