Beautiful location, right on two canals
I partially booked this hotel to take advantage of the terrace overlooking the canal, but this was reserved for private events both evenings I stayed there, which was disappointing.
Staff were wonderful. Location was magical on grand canal and 6 minutes from the station. Garden was absolutely beautiful.
Nothing could have been better.
Great location 5 minutes from the train station with a fantastic garden overlooking the grand canal. The greeting on our arrival was fantastic by the male receptionist 10/10.
A very small superior room (303) on the third floor needing some basic diy/renovation. The hairdryer only worked when it wanted too,,bathroom mirror bracket loose, bedside shelf kept falling off the wall, lack of wardrobe/draw space. The basic daily clean by the chamber maid lacked attention to detail; no tea/coffee/milk/spoons or bathroom products not being replenished & room surfaces not being wi...Read more
A lovely boutique hotel very close to the railway station yet overlooking the canal. We had a lovely room, very clean and comfortable. The guy on reception was extremely helpful and welcoming. We had a lovely breakfast in the garden, watching the city come alive on the canal.
Nothing. I liked everything about this hotel.
Great location and friendly team on reception.
Complimentary water in the room per day considering the room rate and heat this would have been welcomed and very hospitable.
Breakfast in the garden overlooking the Canal was spectacular. Appreciated the convenient but quiet location so very close to the train station making arrival and departure a breeze.
Unfortunately, my husband had an injury while in Venice and the hotel was unwilling to accommodate our early departure request — 1 day — (which was their prerogative given its booking.com guidelines). The inflexibility was unfortunate and we felt did reflect on the management of the hotel property given the extenuating circumstances. Disappointed and created a huge inconvenience.
The staff were excellent and responsive. The room was clean and the bathroom was modern and spacious. The breakfast buffet was good. The location and garden excellent and the room had a robe and slippers and any amenities anyone might need while you’re traveling. Perfect comfort.
A lovely property close to the train station in Venice but away from the crowds
Great location. Beautiful gardens. Large, clean room.
We were unaware that, as our room was classed as 'standard' there were no tea or coffee making facilities. Our room on the ground floor was adjacent to the reception desk, so quite noisy. Ironing in the room was 'strictly forbidden' so no ironing facilities and as laundry charges started at €5 for a single pair of underwear this was not the best option.
The location was ideal for us. About an 8-minute walk from the train station, maybe 15 minutes with heavy suitcases. You have beautiful views of the canal. There is even a private hotel garden with views of the canal where you can eat breakfast or enjoy drinks. The breakfast is standard for Italy: bread rolls, croissants, scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon, yogurt, sliced meats, cereals, nuts, past...
The thermostats in the rooms do not work at all. As a result, the rooms get very hot. You can try to open the windows to circulate the air, but a bunch of mosquitoes will fly in (especially in the evening / night). We had better luck leaving the door to the hallway open. The bathroom has no ventilation. So the steam from the shower makes the room humid too. While the windows are great at blocking ...Read more
