I can’t tell you how wonderful this property is. The views from a cliff above two beaches are incredible. The owner and staff were so attentive and the it felt secure and well maintained. It’s a bit of a bumpy road to get there but well worth every minute.

Water could be warmer. Unit was described as having a living room, but seating was outside in the wind.

bathroom was nice; kitchen was OK; I liked the patio.
I didn't really like the room; it was narrow and dark; didn't seem particularly secure, not that I felt security was really an issue, but the bed was up agnst a sliding glass door that did not lock. There's no food on property; the hot tub wasn't hot.
The pool and access to secluded beach was amazing. We loved the peace and setting.
It’s feeling a little tired although work is being done to upgrade facilities and the price is super reasonable for oceanfront paradise. A rough 10min drive to town, renting a car or golf cart is a must.
Everything was perfect!! From the moment we drove up! The beautiful grounds, pool and flowering landscape was breathtaking! We were greeted warmly by the family and our room was spectacular. I was without water for 2 days. without a toilet for 1 day. No compensation for the inconvenience. The pool was cold as was the hot tub. I would run out of water and have to wait for a new bottle. Once someone came to me for water because the office wasn't open. No one spoke English so it was hard to communicate. I pulled a muscle trying to open my sliding glass door. The best ocean view from a balcony over the ocean I have ever stayed at. Lots of pelicans skimming the water. Whales in the distance.
It would have helped if their was breakfast or coffee served. Nearest food is a 10 min car ride.
Lydia’s bungalows is a hidden gem, view was spectacular, private beach and friendly people
Location, location, location, overlooks the Pacific Ocean and two beaches, which are private and accessible from the property, as long as you have the ability to walk down and up stone steps that a cut into the hill side. The location is about 10 minutes from the center of town on a hard packed dirt road, which is less bumpy than some of the cobble stone streets.
I wish the overhead fans had variable speeds. They are either on fast or off.
