The bed was super comfortable, and all the hotel staff made me feel very welcome. The restaurant serves really good breakfasts and dinners. I would definitely stay here again.
The temperature of the shower was very hard to control- ( too hot!). But I didn’t report this. However, given that the staff worked really hard to make my stay perfect, I think if I had reported the problem with shower, this would have been sorted out.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Nice bar and dining room. Well located in the centre of Thornhill.

Central location, free parking outside hotel. Good food and ambience in bar and dining room. Very pleasant staff.

Excellent bedroom with extremely comfortable bed. Great big walk-in shower and a separate bath. The hotel staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly and our dinner was delicious! Happy to recommend the BQA for all of the above and its location with Dumfriesshire - so good for exploring in all directions.
