The welcome, welcome drinks, quality of room upon first inspection. Bar and food facilities. Very dog friendly, our dog loved every minute of it!
The air conditioning was awful, loud and making a knocking/banging noise in the night. Kept us awake most of the night. The record player also didn’t work, it was too fast on one setting and too slow on another. The sensor light under the bed was also inconvenient (I’m sure it could be turned off but couldn’t figure it out in the middle of the night)
Lovely room, situated in the heart of Manchester! Friendly staff, lovely bar and restaurant. Food was amazing & the drink & meal voucher was a really nice touch.
The breakfast was amazing and really enjoyed the beer school
The room could have been abit bigger for a suite, very small bed and the price we paid for a nightly stay was a tad expensive. Plus we added on the top dog package
Hotel was ace, loved the dinner and pint perk for staying with you. The rooms are well designed and great facilities, will be back to stay again!
Staff: Staff were excellent, especially Ben. Staff were flexible and easy going which was really nice. Room: Room was good but not luxurious. Bed comfy. Style of room fun and gimmicky for a one off. Food: Food good. Portions excellent. Dinner included which was good. Emails and communication: Easy communication with staff and the hotel. Ability to add on extras was very convenient and appreciated....
Cleanliness: Cleanliness generally good although sink area dusty. Bathroom: Bathroom not very private from bedroom, just partition steel and frosted windows. Mini bar: Mini bar (maxi bar!) and snacks very expensive and therefore not used.Read more
Loved the location... Atmosphere... Super comfy bed and pillows. Room exceeded expectations everything you could need and more.. Nice to find somewhere that is genuinely pooch friendly....Chester had a great time. We will definitely use again when visiting family :)
Exceeded our expectations completely!! The room was beautifully put together and it was just effortlessly cool; the records were also a lovely touch. We also received dinner tokens to be put towards our evening meal and honestly I was so impressed with our food, too! Myself and my partner both agreed we never want to stay anywhere else when visiting Manchester!

Thought the beer in room was included as was in a Captain's Suite but it was not. Booking was misleading as said beer & champagne included
Great location, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Loads of little touches like the wireless chargers for your phone, record player, mini bar, chargeable added extras in room if required, even a guitar
Room was stunning Had a free safe to put belongings in Sensor lights to be able to see in the dark
