Pros (+) Design, easily reached from Brienz and other interesting locations. Very clean and friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant menu, Very tasty!
Cons (-) Bit noisy in the morning - hotel suppliers. However it doesnt last long.

Pros (+) The location is a beautiful location in the countryside, surrounded by farmland. And right down the street from the Ballenburg living museum. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful even on a cool foggy morning. Food was very good and fresh. The rooms are quite unique but comfortable. We only stayed for one night and was unable to take advantage of everything. Parking fills up so if it is important...

Pros (+) Nice outdoor terrace and kids playground. Underground parking. Nice museum and village around to explore
Cons (-) overpriced at $400/ night for a small queen room + kids bunk: not even AC in the room. Also no pool, no gym, no spa, no hair conditioner in the shower (just cheap soap). No child lock on the shower which runs very hot water. Lots of flies in the indoors cafe. Breakfast included; good but again very basic for $400/night.
