Great hotel in the heart of Haarlem. My room looked beautiful and had some nice touches like the free mini bar. Really nice location and decor and the staff are fantastic. I had a comfortable stay and would love to visit again.
The stairs to my room were really steep, but that is typical of old Dutch buildings
The staff was very kind to us, especially when we arrived. We got lost finding the Hotel and they made us feel very welcome.
The stairs.
The Brasss Hotel & Suites was in a great location in Haarlem - very convenient for all the sights you might want to see in town. Steps from the main canal and just inside the pedestrian zone in town. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and courteous. The mini bar was nicely stocked and free.
Each room is very different, and I can only speak for the room we stayed in called “Ocean by Night.” The room was a very strange layout, with the only bathroom sink inside the sleeping area of the room, tucked over by a window - very difficult to use. There were separate rooms for the toilet and shower areas. The floor was marble, which felt very cold most of the time. When we arrived, no one told...Read more

The room was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was big and comfortable and the shower and bath were good! There were free snacks in the corridor and a free bottle of wine.
The blinds on the windows were the only thing that didn’t seem clean and fresh. The stairs were very steep but not much you can do about that in the style of building it is!
Excellent all good the bathroom was very cold on the morning
Everything was perfect. Third year in a row for the Xmas markets. Great property, amazing atmosphere
Great location
Clean and tidy. Rooms are wonderful
Location is downtown in the gorgeous city of Haarlem, near museums, shops, and nice restaurants. The staff is very kind and extremely accommodating, and we even got an upgrade. The room (diamonds of the sea) was spacious and had character. They even placed a Christmas tree in the room! We had a lovely stay and would visit again.
The downsides are small and, to a large part, kind of a natural consequence of the location and older built. There is a very small elevator that goes up very slowly to the 3rd floor. Stairs are very steep and not easy with a bunch of luggage (but that's where the elevator comes in handy). Because of the central location, there is some background noise from the street or neighbors outside of the ho...Read more
Wonderful details everywhere - snacks in the hallway and a no charge minibar in the room. The shower had a steam feature. The room was huge.
