I thought the location was a little remote, removed from the hustle and bustle of a city like Rotterdam which chimed in rather well with what I wanted. More importantly the owner of the hotel warm, friendly and went the extra mile to cater to my needs.

The staff was a 10 out of 10, we felt very comfortable, everything is very clean! you feel like home. the area is very quiet and pleasant.

The room was perfectly decorated, had everything we needed, and the bed was so comfortable. Our host Natasja was so helpful as well.

It is the best location to explore Rotterdam and its surroundings. The Waterbus ( a fabulous suggestion of the owner, Natasja) was an excellent addition to our planned trip. Natasja went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was terrific, with an abundance of tasty food. EVERYTHING and Beyond! We left our heart at Hippe, we were lucky and got both rooms, one for us and one for our daughters. Everything there is Perfect, the look, the parfum Natahsha has in each room….everything is sparkling clean. Nathasha is one pf the most adorable person we have ever met! Hippe is a little piece of heaven in Ambacht.
Everything was more then perfect the room was clean, was more big then i expect we had Netflix for free like what could you ask more? Free Wi-Fi and the 17 euros for the breakfast it’s all worth it! Location was nice, some very good restaurants in the area. Free parking in local area. TV connection to internet. Interesting, characterful building. The proprietor was extremely helpful and easy to contact through WhatsApp
It was a little noisy. Downstairs is a function room and if it is in use there is noise breaking through. The bathroom is open plan to the main room although hidden. You need to know your partner well. The stairs are traditional and are steep so this maybe an issue for some people.
