Everything was perfect. It was a great stay for the weekend mixing hiking with a wonderful hotel.
Nothing.
We loved everything about our stay - the super friendly and attentive staff, the cosy atmosphere, the delicious food, the fact they allow dogs, the private sauna and jacuzzi. This is the perfect place for a Black Forest trip
Not per se a « didn’t like » but just a note that would have put the cherry on the top: most hotels we’ve been to that charge extra for a dog put some food/water bowls and a small blanket for the dog in the room. That would have been amazing.
Our stay started with the Hotel Manager picking us up from the train station and providing us a thorough overview of the hotel and local activities. The hotel grounds were in impeccable condition and our room was as expected. The meals were excellent, well deserved of their Michelin rating. Overall, it was the guest service that stood out as they took every opportunity to ensure we were enjoying o...

This is simply the best place to stay. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the food was first class, the location so beautiful and peaceful.
Absolutely stunning lobby and lounge, extremely polite and friendly stuff, very nice welcome drinks. Credits to the owner who hired very fresh, young, motivated team. Rooms are perfectly clean, wellness is paradise.
Super friendly staff and warm welcome with glass of secco. Nice spacious rooms and excellent bed. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definetly like to come back to enjoy the gourment restaurant as well. The sauna and jacuzzi were also great after a rainy day in the black forest. Very convenient that they reserve the wellness facilities for you only at the time you'd like to use them. .... and it'...
The hotel was new and very good. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. unfortunately we didn't book for dinner but the staff called a few restaurants for us so that we could get dinner. The staff were very good. The room was large and well equipped, it provided a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was very good too. Overall fantastic place to stay.
Tea and coffee maker in the room would have been nice, but there was one in the communal area. Also the rooms didn't have A/C which was a shame, as it was 35 degrees when we stayed.
Exquisite food and wine; thoughtful, attentive staff; in a quiet, idyllic setting. We are going to return, and we are bringing friends.
Would be great to have a few translations of documents in English.
