Beautiful building in keeping with its traditional routes. Absolutely stunning. We upgraded to a four poster room with free standing bath which was heaven. The spa facilities were 5* and the food was so delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go again in the future.

Table size in restaurant. Too small for the menu. Who ever is in charge of this, try and have dinner! It’s stressful !
The overall service and the spa were excellent
Our dinner in the mayflower brasserie was very good, however the portions were very small. If we had not have ordered three side dishes, we would have been very disappointed.

The gym, the spa, and the restaurant was exceptional, I will definitely be back.

I don't think they fulfil their 5* requirements. If this was a 3 or 4* hotel, I would rate it higher, but it falls down at too many points compared to other 5* properties. Fantastic stay, top drawer food and service :-) Love the hidden bar! The staff were really professional and made you feel relaxed and very well looked after.
All good. There was a bit of a mix up with the booking for a treatment in the spa, which was a shame but we still really enjoyed the great facilities.

Amazing looking property with beautiful rural views and very old timey feel. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and the facilities were all my mum could wish for on her birthday.
Everything, the attention to detail, the helpfulness of all the staff, the location and peacfullness, the whole place and experience was amazing.
