Very good

Pros (+) Rooms were very nice facing the mountains and the food deserves a Michelin recognition.
Cons (-) I think it is overpriced based on what they offer.

Andrew, May 2025
Pros (+) Very attentive and helpful staff, special mention of Karen who took excellent care of our group. Fantastic location immediately outside the gates of Machu Picchu! Comfortable rooms with “private” veranda and access to garden. Fabulous natural surroundings. Delightful variety of souvenir water bottles, and welcome chocolates and thoughtful amenities such as sun screen and mosquito repellant!
Cons (-) Food: Hamburger and club sandwich from room service excellent! Quality and variety of buffet in coffee shop very mediocre and uninspiring…bordering on bad cafeteria standards…! 😰 Food quality in main dining room good, 👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻 but not in line with the exuberant cost of accommodations per night…would have much preferred paying a la carte for food & alcoholic beverage with a reduced room rate…

Pros (+) The location
Cons (-) Missing a pool Hotel of this magnitude and cost needs to have outbound bus priority arranged as well. I did it in the end with the hotel staff but I had to initiate. This should be complimentary!

Pros (+) Quiet. Clean. Lovely garden area. Proximity to Citadel entrance. Excellent food. Attentive, responsive, friendly staff, without exception, starting from time of reservation and ending with luggage assistance at Aguas Calientes train station.
Cons (-) Our room was smaller than I expected. We had the Standard King Patio Room. Glad to have the patio. I had read about smallish room sizes from other reviews. So not totally unexpected…
