Staff pleasant, rooms clean, nice gardens opposite, lounge area relaxing, good english breakfast. Fifteen minutes walk from train station. Bus stop outside going to Brixham or St Marychurch.
Cold buffet at breakfast could be improved with better selection of cold meats and pastries. Better waitress service in lounge area.

The high quality and very clean room met 4star standards. The staff were all attentive and always met our needs. Lots of free parking available and great location for a short walk to town centre. Food was delicious, breakfast had lots of choice.
It was a shame there was only one beauty therapist as when she attended training for two days there were no treatments available. On one day there were children’s swimming lessons and it was not made clear if residents could swim at this time or not, fully understand to use the pool for this but should have kept guests informed.
Lovely room with little gift of chocolate and fruit. Towelling Robe. The slippers were a gift to keep. Great to have a fridge along with fresh little bottle of milk and replenished when needed. Bed comfy, breakfast was adequate and dinner by candlelight was a great little touch. Pool was easy and accessible. Location and parking could not fault.
