Quiet beautiful location, nice design, easy parking, comfortable room, relaxing atmosphere, good restaurant

The breakfast had limited food and overcooked, the staff disinterested in refreshing the buffet, the breakfast was very expensive for the quality and choice. Dinner was very expensive and below average quality
Typical French breakfast , as you would expect , with lovely yogurts . Typical French small town with few restaurants that open for dinner .
A comfy chair in the bedroom would have been nice .
We have stayed here a number of times. Good value comfortable room. Enjoyable evening meal. Great stop over. Staff always excellent.
Petit-déjeuner - (simple and straight forward,as usual) - location is good next to the river, the hotel is almost at the end of the high street , lots of small shops, and things to see and enjoy - Good easy (free) parking too.
Other (younger) guests are either deaf or have not been taught to take into consideration that might be other people trying to sleep around them when moving around a small older hotel, (ok, I admit I am from a "different "generation).
Comfortable bed and beautifully decorated.
The staircase wasn’t the nicest to carry a suitcase up.

It is well situated next to the river: since we stayed there years , When the rooms were plain and the dining room all clean linen ,old-fashioned white jugs with coffee and hot milk, traditional and delicious food , it has been completely modernised: The ground floor is now dominated by the bar and small lounge area with a smaller dining room and large open kitchen. The hotel has lost its charm: The food was very expensive and disappointing: The amuse Bouche was a teaspoonful of tapenade ,with lardons mixed in , which was replaced for my vegetarian husband by simply the tapenade.
