Absolutely everything, from the second we arrived we felt so at home. The staff made your really feel like family and the stay itself was breathtaking. If you want to stay away from the "tourist trap" wineries, and want a more quiet location for a true getaway - this is the place.
Nothing at all, wish I stayed longer.
The service was top tier, the facility was beautiful and clean.
The area and views were stunning. We liked the room and all the facilities and the staff were extremely attentive and accommodating. We used the hotel e-bikes and took a lovely bike ride around the nearby villages. It was a good location from which to explore the entire Douro valley area.
We thought the food was good but not great. Our dinners were served lukewarm at best which made them less enjoyable.
Great quality design and fittings in the hotel.Great position with wonderful views. The staff were very keen and very nice to deal with .They tried but couldn't always deliver. Comfortable beds.
The hotel is new and it shows.The seemed to need a few more staff. It took 2 nights to get a kettle in the room as they were 'all being used'. There were only 2 umbrellas around the pool terrace when they needed probably 10.(apparently the others had broken with excessive wind. The room designs are flawed. Toilet and shower were in effect 'in the room' allowing very little privacy .
Incredible hotel! The views from the room were just magnificent. The people at the hotel were incredibly helpful. We’ve had a great time here!
I had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff were professional, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. Beautiful place, very nice staff and great food
Only thing was that our airco and shower weren’t working super. That could be treated a bit better, but we think that’s a learning point. Staff is nice

Cannot recommend enough, amazing facilities and wonderful staff, always willing to help and ensure the best staying possible. Incredible view and super calm environment. Definitely an experience to repeat!
This hotel is stunning in the Duoro Valley. If we had time we would have used the spa and pool facilities. The onsite restaurant was fantastic and made for a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is beautifully set on the hillside over looking the river.
Not sure what would have been better other than roping off the pathway that looks like part of the driveway that would be terrible if you were to continue on it.
