We loved the Hotel Itself. the rooms and and pool were amazing and the back restaurant area. The food was very good as well but a little pricey. The rooms were very nice and the design of the hotel was cool and modern.
The smell of sewage was overwhelming, the hotel said it was seaweed but we went to tulum and there was TONS more seaweed and no smell. It looks like they were draining sewage directly into the ocean. It was really kind of nasty. The hotel itself was great, but the ocean in the back was stagnant lake water and was smelly and murky. I would only stay here if you want to eat or use the pool. Me and my partner stayed in one of the rooms facing the ocean - the design and the view was incredible. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. It was great value for money but note we went off season. The rooms are really nice design and comfortable although more storage would be ideal. We like the bracelets instead of key cards but so easy to lose them as they slip (and they charge you for a new one). We enjoyed the outdoors pool and beach area although it was very small. We had multiple issues with cleaning. Sometimes they would come at 9:50 or 10:30 am to clean the room when we are still in bed and then wouldn’t clean the room at all. When requested we would wait another 2/3 hours to get the room cleaned. Sometimes they would clean the room around 3/4 pm. Great location, slightly out of the main town, but easy to get there by taxis which are affordable. Beautifully designed hotel, both swimming pools are lovely to cool off in. The beach area is not quite as advertised or pictured and was more like an extension of the hotel breakfast bar / restaurant. It was still right by the sea and the shaded loungers were so lovely and comfortable. Everything was amazing, we saw the best sunsets in there. The food at their restaurant is amazing, We also must mention how great the staff and the manager were.
My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks and we loved this hotel. The food, drinks and amenities were amazing, but what really stood out was the staff- you could tell that they truly cared about the experience of each guest. We spent a lovely day at the hotel. It's beautiful, everything is well-maintained, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was comfortable and had a beautiful view of the pool, perfect for relaxing. It's definitely a place we'd love to return to.
There are some constructions around but only at certain times.
