Nice pool with swim up bar. Good restaurant with good staff ready to help. Friendly staff overall. Good location near the beach.
The staff at reception were so helpful and allowed me to use the hotel facilities well after check out as I had a late flight.
The front of house at the restaurant at breakfast were very rude. All they cared about was about how much I would pay for breakfast (despite already having this conversation with reception). Really put me off the experience. A lot of reviews mention that breakfast is exceptional. I would say it’s just good. What you should expect for a 4/5 star hotel
After moving from a lesser standard that didn’t meet our expectations we moved here and were not disappointed. The food (from a catering manager of 20 years, was excellent) but what was incredible was the service. Every person had equal levels of excellence and that reflected in their love of working at this property. It shined through and was very natural.

Everything, close to the beach very nice facilities and the rooms were lovely. Very nice bed and staff especially Rena she was very polite and helped make my partners birthday special
It’s not a bad thing because it’s not that much of a walk about 15-20 mins walk but there is no 7-11 close to the hotel which can be a bit of an inconvenience for some who like to pick up little bits here and there
The pool and the swim up bar was superb. The breakfast was outstanding, we didn't want to leave because of the breakfast, among other things.
The shower floor had a leak in which we did inform the staff about. The TV was a little dated so we were not able to download netflix or screen mirror netflix from out phone, we only had you tube which was limiting if we wanted to relax in our room with tv.
We had a fantastic stay at Avista Grande Resort! The staff was always extremely kind and they even upgraded our room for free, to better celebrate our honeymoon. The facilities and pool are wonderful and the Resort is conveniently located close to Karon beach (5 mins walk). Totally suggested!
The restaurant tends to overcook meat, but the location is beautiful.
