Usually we dont bother to rate as all staff have been professional but the group here try to be particularly helpful. It was noteworthy and the breakfast provided had extra selections along the lines encountered at luxury Hotels we have been at!!
We had to cancel the last day at the last minute, but we're told that as it was through booking instead of them that it wasn't possible.
The hotel is right in the heart of Viseu, next to the park and a large tree shaded esplanade with a café. The beds are super comfortable, all is very clean, neat and tastefully decorated. Free street parking is 3min away. We ate a fantastic giant ice cream at Gelataria Tre Santi just down the street. We loved this little know gem in the centre of Portugal.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the room was bright and had a large window that opened. There were excellent night lights I could use while my partner was sleeping. There was a sitting room with a tv and fireplace on the 1st floor that was a nice place to sit instead of our smallish room. There was also tea and coffee available anytime in reception. As in so many hotels the room was warm and it was not possible to cool it sufficiently to sleep comfortably. We slept with the window slightly open which meant noise in the morning. Also the people above us were jumping / running late into the night but the staff did speak to them on our behalf.Read more

Breakfast needs some work.
Bright, beautiful hotel with modern utilities, comfortable bed and even sofa and armchair in the room. Very good breakfast. Fantastic stuff. Just near the old city. Small supermarket around the corner.
