This was such a peaceful trip, we felt so taken care of. The space is lovely and the staff is exceptional. Genuine people with hearts of gold. The breakfast that was included each day was delicious as well!
We absolutely loved the pool and the hot tubs. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, especially Daniel. Rooms were spotless and housekeeping went above and beyond, they even folded clothes that we left out. The included breakfast was lovely by the pool, always fresh and tasty. Nothing that I would say I didn’t like - would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Or a coffee machine in the reception even would be nice for a late afternoon coffee.
The staff are very lovely and helpful! Very clean and great quiet location. Highly recommend this place!
We loved our stay at the Avela! The pool area is gorgeous, with great food and drink served during the day. Our room was clean and conformable with lots of space! The property is only a few minutes walk into the main area of beach, bars and restaurants. The Avela staff were all very lovely with great service! We would stay here again!
It was a great hotel room with robes and comfort! The pool and included breakfast was good too 😘 They had a cold and warm Jacuzzi, which was great for the evening when you needed to heat up a bit. We also got a complimentary drink when we arrived, and you get beach towels, beach umbrellas, and can borrow a golf cart from the hotel!! 😻
It said the room had a terrace, but our room has something that looked like a corner wall. But it doesn't matter, because you go straight out to the pool area from your room.
The bed was very comfy and the room was spacious. The pool area was a great space to lounge by, loved that it was a salt water pool. The breakfast was really delicious each morning, the coconut oatmeal was amazing. The hotel itself was really quiet and that was a huge plus to the whole experience.
The room itself was kind of run down. For example, the fixtures were falling apart, or barely hanging onto the wall. The sliding door to the 'patio' didn't lock as the lock was broken, this could have been a problem for someone who was concerned about safety - I personally didn't feel unsafe in the property.
