The location is the key! very close to the thermol pools, park, playground and shopping. Staff is very friendly. Clean room.
No face tissue supplied. The building lookes like 1960's and quite aged.
Everything. Absolutely perfect location, close to everything you need. Absolutely wonderful, friendly staff. The pool and mineral pools were a perfect way to warm up and relax during a cool evening. Will be choosing Aura again when visiting.
Great situation - wonderful to be able to walk to restaurants & the lake front.
The first room was very old & hadn’t been modernized at all. Just a lick of paint some years ago. However the staff were most obliging & moved us to a room with a modernized bathroom. We look forward to staying again when we next come to Rotorua. By then the rooms will be all looking amazing.
Excellent motel in a top location - lakefront, walking distance to Eat Street and the gardens. Super-helpful staff with lots of info about attractions available. Nice heated pool, trampoline, BBQ area, and hot baths. We stayed in "Stella's Suite" and enjoyed the space and fixtures (WM and dryer in the suite). A few floor lamps in the living area would have helped the ambiance; ceiling downlights were a bit bright. The bedrooms were more serene with comfy beds, lamps and throws.Read more
The customer service was exceptional. I felt individually welcomed which is not a usual feeling at motels. I loved the feeling of the hotel, retro but in the process of modernizing.

Excellent location within walking distance of Eat Streat, Kuirau Park and many more. There are free geothermal and sulphur pool on site, plus a laundromat. Free parking is available. Apartments are well appointed and homely. Great value for money

We had an amazing room that was nice and warm when we arrived. The spa pool in our room was hot and private. The milk was amazing too!
