Pros (+) Beautiful old building set in a lovely forested landscape. We enjoyed the ambiance having a pre dinner drink in the old wood panelled bar. Food was particularly good with an excellent dinner surpassing our expectations. Very good English breakfast.
Cons (-) Weather wasn’t particularly cold but willingness to light a big fire ( I did ask) would have added atmosphere at a time ( post Easter) when the hotel was quiet and lacked sone resulting atmosphere. Minor point in an overall very nice one night stay.

Pros (+) Room was nice if it was default a little cold. The FOH staff were excellent and very welcomnig. Breakfast was the show stopper though. Wow amazing.
Cons (-) The electric car charger wasnt working in the car park. Which was one of the reasons I stay here.

Cons (-) Rooms little dated for amount you pay to stay. Entrance corridor which has storage needs improved lighting especially as only full length mirror in this area.

Pros (+) The staff were friendly and we had a good size room with very comfortable bed. Breakfast service was excellent and the food was high quality.

Pros (+) Beautiful country hotel, on gorgeous grounds. Rooms are perfect. Restaurant was fabulous and the food was the best I’ve had in a while. Staff are so friendly and made it all the most special.

Pros (+) Lovely property, nice clean rooms. Lovely old ornate decoration, with a cosy friendly feel. Staff very attentive and food is excellent. Fantastic value for money.
