Quiet location, clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, dog friendly rooms with beds and bowls, was a nice touch, very enjoyable stay, delicious breakfast…
Lack of dog poo bins, understandable given the environment
We picked Audley Wood as it was a dog friendly hotel. Our room was a nice size, really clean and had tea/coffee facilities. The little extra touches inc Dog bowls, treats and a cozy bed for our furry friend. All the staff were polite and friendly especially Sebastian who made our stay memorable. The hotel was in good upkept condition with beautiful grounds. Breakfast-there was a great continental s...

Beautiful house in lovely setting.
Only nit- picking but the grounds aren’t quite as big as you think. Lots used for car parking and another ‘council site’?? Still lovely though.
Location, meals, staff : everything was perfect. Remarkable mansion and tremendous breakfast!
Everything was perfect, friendly staff, excellent food.
Staff werel amazing. Food at dinner and breakfast great
Lovely hotel in a very attractive setting. Staff were all excellent. Very comfortable room and delicious breakfast.
Shower over the bath was quite difficult to get in and out of and my elderly mother was unable to use it. I don't know whether they have the option of a room with walk in shower.
Nice surroundings. A pleasant hotel with old-fashioned charm. Very good reception staff.
dinner was good. All staff were particularly friendly, efficient & professional, Andrea in particular.
Beautiful old building set in a lovely forested landscape. We enjoyed the ambiance having a pre dinner drink in the old wood panelled bar. Food was particularly good with an excellent dinner surpassing our expectations. Very good English breakfast.
Weather wasn’t particularly cold but willingness to light a big fire ( I did ask) would have added atmosphere at a time ( post Easter) when the hotel was quiet and lacked sone resulting atmosphere. Minor point in an overall very nice one night stay.
