I asked Reception for a little fresh milk for my tea in my room. She told me there's a supermarket round the corner - TWICE! I said I'm a guest. Please bring me some. She did.
The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained; everything seemed new and so beautifully designed! The light fixtures were exquisite, and the green velvet bench was gorgeous. I had possibly the best shower of my life at Aston Hotel; I stepped out feeling unbelievably relaxed and refreshed. The bed was also quite comfortable, and it was very easy to regulate the temperature.
Genuinely the worst staff I have encountered. They could not answer simple questions and acted like I was a bother every time I approached them, including for check-in and check-out. The same can be said about the service staff in the restaurant; it was almost laughable how poorly I was treated. Although this is my only complaint, it was bad enough that it nearly soured my whole experience.
The hotel is spotless and conveniently located.
We had a really bad experience with sleeping in our room. It was impossible to set up the desired temperature and the room ended up being cold for most of the nights, which made sleep very difficult. Moreover, the noise from the street was disturbing, even from the 4th floor. Comfortable, clean and good location
The road outside is very noisy with traffic and late night bars / live music
We got free upgrade, so very nice experience already at the start. Great breakfast options, nice cakes. Amazing small gym with new equipment! Very modern and great located hotel 😊
It’s loud next to the street, apart from that we lack of shampoo, shower gel and soap which in my opinion should be checked before guest arrival (and not a surprise in the middle of shower;)) Also, very surprisingly we had to leave 50 euro deposit while checking in, so be prepared for that.
Really great hotel in the city centre, with amazing breakfast and 24/7 gym. I definitely recommend :)
