I mentioned I would appreciate a room with a view, and the gracious staff upgraded me to a top level room (with a balcony) that was large as a suite and very comfortable.
from the main street, there is a flight of outdoor stairs down to the entrance, not easy with luggage. There is another, level access through back streets but taxis don't seem to use it. The location in the City might be good for business but is very quiet at week-end with little to visit and restaurants closed in a 10 min walk radius. Closest metro station is +10 min walk.
Honestly, best value for money in central London. Rooms are always very spacious and clean, the team is helpful. Room service is great.
Free gym access, quiet rooms and big bath tab
Small mini bar
The staff were great from the moment if checking in to checking out. The hotel was immaculate! Breakfast was great with plenty of choices.
It was very nice and quiet. Set back off fleet street. Our room was great nice view of the thames. I booked for a birthday surprise so the staff were very helpful and offered me a birhday package for the room. It went down very well.
The pillows were a bit too hard and lumpy for me.
Location, room upgrade, cleanliness. The woman @ reception was particularly helpful.
We asked to extend by another day, but that could not be accommodated. NB we have stayed there befor.
Lovely room. Loved the blackout curtains and had a great nights sleep. The team member that checked us in was super helpful throughout the process.
