The Anantara is a fabulous resort, great value for money. The pool and luscious gardens make it a tranquil get-away with easy access to all the tourist nightlife and cultural sites. Fantastic breakfast buffet. One of the best.
Our bath had a leak when you turned on the taps but that was a minor issue.

Great service, well designed, comfortable pool area, very good gym, good restaurants & bars (especially Vic's, but pricy). Boat to Bangkok transit station is very handy.

Very nice location at the river and (normally) a very good hotel. Great staff, and smoothly with great hospitality.
The fact that renovation works - that even continued on Sunday - where not announced in any way at reservation or afterwards, so we would have had a choice to cancel whenever you don’t want this during your holiday.

The area is a bit far So you can’t walk around
The property was beautiful, there were a lot of traditional Thai elements alone with modern amenities. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the views were endless.
The smell of the canal was disgusting around mid-day. However, there were signs that explained the hotel couldn’t control what was going on. In the early morning or late evening, the smell would be gone with the rise in water level.
Beautiful place to stay. Great staff. Clean rooms.
