Aircon shut off and broke down in the middle of the night, aircon was leaking all over the luggage area and got all out stuff wet. Room was stuffy and hot and aircon broke down, had to open up the balcony doors to get some airflow into the room and couldn’t fall asleep the entire night. We loved our time at Anantara! The hotel exudes luxury, and the food—especially breakfast—is absolutely delicious. Pros (+) Rooms: Clean, comfortable, spacious. Really appreciate them topping up the complimentary bar fridge and snacks everyday! Food: Excellent selection for breakfast. As it was low season and weather was really cooling and windy, the entire ambience was really relaxing.
Cons (-) Observatory Bar - the drinks and cocktails can be better. Perhaps it is the skills level of the bartender. I would have loved if they serve nuts to go with the drinks we ordered. It would have certainly made us want to order more drinks!
