The breakfast was amazing and the location near the castles was perfect for our family.
I loved everything about this hotel.
The location is absolutely prime, right by the castles and the lake. We really loved the room - comfortable and beautifully done. Breakfast was excellent. The spa is nice and relaxing, with good potential and convenient opening hours overall.
Staff were a bit hit-or-miss - not everyone was as helpful or welcoming. Room cleanliness could be better, and housekeeping didn’t collect or replace dirty plates or cutlery. The spa is missing some facilities (wet sauna, sitz baths) and really should have both an indoor and an outdoor jacuzzi. The This expensive hotel feels like it has great potential, but it’s not fully realized.

We were lucky to stay in a room where we could see both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. Welcome message and fruits in the room were also nice.
Creaking floor, but it was not a big issue.

The only complaint is that they had no English to stations There were 100 stations and none in English For an international hotel to have no stations in the widest spoken language is inconsiderate at the least
The staff were exceptional could help us enough. Location was perfect and our room was sensational. Dinner was exceptional.
Clean, organized, kind employees
The resort have every facility that you would expect from such place, and upgraded our suite to have own terrace facing the lake. Nice restaurant and breakfast, good parking area and located very close to both castles, the definite choice for visiting castles
The view from the room window was great - you can see the mountains. The view from the hotel restaurant windows is very beautiful: you can see both castles. The hotel terrace overlooks lake Alpsee. Large, convenient but paid parking with cards. Spacious, large room with all amenities, comfortable bed, very good terrace for two people. Fast internet, very tasty breakfast, there were two restaurants...
The price is a bit high, but the place is unique and it can't be cheap.Read more
