Best Place 🩷 We stay in 2 nights, staff were extremely helpfull specialy Front office and Restaurant . Every ware was very clean , all public areas and restaurant and lounge. Free - Wifi signal is best . Lake so lots of birds and monkey. Good base for visiting the culture.
Beautiful grounds , hotel and two excellent pools . Room was huge and very high quality . Friendly helpful staff Felt quiet despite being full .
Quite a lot of larger coach parties / groups of people that made buffet and restaurant busy at times though food was good .
Breakfast was excellent. An amazing selection from the buffet. The landscape and gardening were exceptional.
The villa room had two single beds put together. For such a high class hotel, the beds should be either king or queen and not joined like this.
From the moment we arrived, the excellent customer service stood out. The front house staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The resort itself is nestled in a breathtaking location with stunning views of Kandalama Lake. The beautiful landscaping throughout the property creates a serene and picturesque environment that truly enhances the experien...Read more
A beautiful resort hotel offering a bit of luxury in an idyllic lakeside setting surrounded by wildlife. Very attentive, helpful staff!
Birds and chipmunks in the restaurant, during quiet periods, often walking over cleanly set tables. It wasn't very hygienic.
The hotel territory is beautiful, staff is very helpful and nice. The spa is lovely.
I would recommend booking a room closer to the main area.
Loved the grounds, staff were very pleasant
Food mediocre, rooms are tired and need refreshing
It was a lovely location and resort. The pool was big and refreshing, it was nice to walk around the grounds and along the lake front. It felt very remote, yet it was a tuk tuk ride to Lion Rock (which we went early) and then came back to enjoy a nice refreshing swim. Breakfast was included and it was nice.
Everything was nice. We felt it was very good value-for-money and a beautiful location. Might be a possibility to offer one alternative dining area - for when a big group outnumbers the restaurant. It did get crowded at the buffet as there were a few groups there while we were staying there,
