Pros (+) Excellent location in lovely neighborhood. Immaculate rooms. Outstanding service. Quiet large spotless rooms. Terrific gym and pool and spa.
Cons (-) The coffee at breakfast was never hot and the choices of hot food that were vegetarian were limited.

Cons (-) The Alvear Art is still a very nice hotel but they have some issues that they need to get a handle on or they will chase away any repeat business. The hotel is very nice, the rooms could use a little bit of spiffing just from it not being a new hotel (as I think it was 8 years ago when we stayed here). Pros (+) Large bedroom and bathroom. Staff is nice.
Cons (-) Breakfast was poor, the carpets in the bedroom needed some cleaning. Our bathroom didn’t have hot water, it was fixed but we stayed one morning without bathroom. The swimming pool area was dirty.

Pros (+) Our stay at this hotel was enjoyable with courteous staff. The room was comfortable, cleamn and serviced daily. The hotel was close to a large park as well as the large mall. There was a good variety of food in the restaurant for breakfast with effient service. Would stay at this hotel again.
