Excellent position, the bus stop was just across the street and easy to reach. Breakfast was amazing, Máire’s pancakes were delicious and she and Tony were very kind and welcoming. The bed was also very cozy and comfy. We totally recommend it!
Cozy, clean, comfortable rooms and just a quick bus ride away from Galway city. Maire and Tony were absolutely wonderful! They were really lovely and caring, you can tell that they’ve been doing this for a while :) we can absolutely recommend staying here!
The hosts Marie and Matt are wonderful. They make you feel so at home and are so accommodating. The pancakes were sensational. The facilities were so clean and well presented. It is in such a great location. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you Marie and Matt.
Nothing we didn’t like. Except we only stayed one night instead of 2-3.
Tidy, quiet and very clean accommodation. Guests parking available, bus stop just 100 steps. Varied and freshly cooked breakfast. The owners happy and smiling were very supportive, made us feel like family members and even more. (Thank you Mora, Tony and Thay… will see you soon )

Upon arrival we were welcomed by the owner, a lovely lady which was very friendly and helpful. We had delicious breakfast. Excellent hospitality. Definitely recommend this place!

I've had a lot of reservations about staying at any B&B, especially because me and my sister are not necessarily the most social with strangers, as by our East-Frisian nature; All those reservations and doubts got swept away on day 1. Oh my, this was such a good stay. Maire, Tony and their terrific staff care so much about you and are so supportive. Almara House is a peaceful, quiet property. You will sleep well here. The care, thoughtfulness and assistance naturally provided by Tony and Mora was extraordinary. While we were only there four days, we clicked early on and felt like family by the time we left.
