Picturesque hotel in a lovely location. Gordes is a sweet little town.
I felt for the calibre of this hotel the service was greatly lacking. I have travelled extensively and stayed in some outstanding hotels and this one fell short for me. My allocated room faced the road which was noisy with trucks reversing and cars stopping and unloading. If booking , request a room overlooking pool and valley.

We liked everything! No complains at all! From arrival we were met by uniformed staff who took care of car parking and whisked the luggage to our room. The property is immaculately decorated, grounds manicured to perfection. Everything in the room was included. On leaving we noticed our bags had personalised, engraved leather tags sporting the Airelles brand. Just a superb experience! Highly recom...
I don’t usually leave reviews but this hotel is too good not to. The location, the staff, the welcome gifts and attention to detail generally, all truly special.
My only complaint, if I was to be picky, was that the pillows were not very comfortable. However, that is also personal preference and I’m sure if we asked we could have been provided with different ones.
We loved everything about our stay at La Bastide. There are outstanding views, big rooms, nice decor, and very helpful and attentive staff. Amazing breakfast with a big selection of different dishes. One of the best hotels we ever stayed at. We are already planning our next visit to La Bastide. Definitely recommend that place.
Hands down and by far the most TO DETAIL stay we have ever experienced during our world travel.
