Very clean, close to everything and quiet
It’s very convenient to the cruise terminal. Also it’s convenient to the ferry terminal if you want to go over the many nearby islands for sightseeing.
Exceptional service by friendly staff who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable! The room was lovely and quiet, temperature was perfect and I couldn’t find a single thing they hadn’t provide from robes to shower caps and everyone between - the menu though small was amazing and the brioche french toast was incredible (what a way to start the day). A lovely little hotel at the top of Queen Street that has been well-restored. The room was comfortable, modern, and the decor was relaxing. Room was quiet to outside noise. Lobby and reception are simple.
It is not really self-catering as there is a wine fridge and no cutlery beyond teaspoons. It would be nice with a fridge and even a knife and basic cutlery. It is possible it was the room I selected. Not a problem and wouldn't put me off staying there again
Very friendly staff. Nice looking room, clean. Sheets and bedding was really cheap and nasty though, wouldn’t return to this hotel because of this, we didn’t sleep very well.
The room was spacious, great facilities and tidy. Great to have a separate sitting area and the bed was comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and town.
I was charged for a bottle of wine that we definitely did NOT drink - thankfully a quick call to the hotel to advise the charge was in error and they refunded me straight away. Otherwise, my husband and I were gutted that were only there for a quick trip and could not enjoy the hotel more.
Great hotel, value for money would stay again.
Breakfast was good. Location is good but no free carpark.
If we can get a carpark to park our car.
The location was good - on the main street, 15 min walk from the harbour, room quiet and spacious with a nice view and coffee making mashine, bed comfortable, tasty breakfast, helpful staff
