Nice welcome and attentive staff
The hotel is a bit dated. The bathrooms don't fit a 5* hotel and look very old like the corridors and the facade. I felt duped by the photography.
The territory is huge and very green. Golf for those who are playing. Breakfast and dinner are ok.
I did not check the spa; it was closed (7 pm). The room below my expectation, too old. The hotel itself is very old; it should have been renovated 10 years ago. Personal, administration should be more friendly. For the first time nobody meet you on arrival. The lobby bar, like back to the soviet union. Overpriced, photos are super edited on booking.

The hotel is beautifully located, away from the roads. Comfortable large room equipped with everything you need. We did not have a coffee machine and kettle in our room. We asked for it at reception desk and it was brought to us in 5 minutes. Lovely balcony with a marvellous view of the Burgenland hills and fields. Breakfast and lunch exceeded all expectations! The only thing that wasn't quite comfortable was the pillows. They were too soft. Even though there are 3 pillows for each person, we had to ask for 2 more pillows.Read more
We enjoyed the saunas, the swimming pools, the quiet and relaxing atmosphere, the elegant decoration to give you a feeling of peace and relaxation, the rooms and amenities, the welcoming employees, and the fact that we saw the owner and that he greets you means a lot!
We booked online so we were surprised that dinner was 75 per person, so we went out which was fine because we did not want to eat a big meal, however, it would have been nice to know that ahead of time or have other options at the resort. Maybe there were but we did not know.
Very friendly staff (they are really trying) and clean facilities. Nice outdoor pool with thermal water.
Value for money is very low. Property is well maintained but it looks like from 80-ties - exterior, interior design, low ceilings. It is way too overpriced - we paid 349 euros for a normal room for one night, outside the peak season. Breakfast (which is great btw) was included but dinner was not. Asking 75 euros per person for a dinner in such a remote location and for such a menu is way too much....Read more
Lack of non-german info and signs.
Excellent resort for relaxation and wellness. We enjoyed riding horses, getting massages, walking in the woods and the fabulous spa with multiple pools and saunas. Everything was top notch and there were a variety of activities to select from every day. The staff was very helpful as well.
The beds are much more firm than we are use to.
