Wonderful
Elisabeth, Apr 2025
Pros (+) It is a close competition between the excellent front desk staff, the superstar bartender who told us about the history of the building while she mixed our cocktails, and the sumptuous king suite we stayed in. All wonderful, top-notch.
Cons (-) Not the hotel's fault, but the road construction nearby made the last several blocks of our drive to the Savoy a little treacherous and confusing. Again, 100% out of the control of the hotel, which was otherwise one of the nicest places we've stayed.

Pros (+) Very good location to local events and activities. Loved getting the free water, definitely needed after a long day and we forgot our drinks.
Cons (-) Kind of hard to find the main entrance. Our room was outdated and had a terrible sewer smell right outside the bathroom and the water smelled bad. Thankfully we just used the free water bottles to brush our teeth. It was fine, just not very fancy like the main lobby gave off and for the price I paid.

The heater did not work in our room and the TV just showed "snow" on every channel - the engineer showed up to fix the TV and he was very nice. We paid extra for a "city view" however the room was on the 2nd floor and the view was a street and parking lot. We were expecting more from a ...

Pros (+) Beautiful rooms and great staff.
Cons (-) They are switching over companies so the walls were pretty bare. I am sure when it’s all set and done. It’s gonna be gorgeous again.

Cons (-) Did not know they were transitioning and there was no decor or artworks like expected. That was the whole reason we booked. :(
