The property was beautiful and located perfectly in the middle of the city.
We were not told the rooms would be two floors, which was not ideal. There was also a festival going on and it was quite loud.
Fabulous quirky restoration of gothic splendour.
Staff did not follow up on expected/promised service. Eg letting us know when room was ready, lack of smiles in interactions, all young, no sense/sight of senior oversight.
Beautiful boutique hotel in a historic building in a very central location. Great service. Made the holiday feel really special. Loved the special nook with quiet music and an honesty bar. And the lovely cocktail bar overlooking the canal.
I was very happy with the hotel. It doesn't have a restaurant but I don't think it needed one.

Location was exceptional. Bed was incredibly comfortable.
There were 14 sreep steps up to the bathroom! Even though the toilet was on the first level, you had to climb the rather treacherous stairs to wash your hands. Also, there was no wY to get your luggage into the hotel other than to lift it up 8 steps to the elevator! Room was very dark, lights had to be on all the time. Room wasn't serviced until 4pm.
The location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic—convenient and close to everything we needed. However, it was a bit noisy at times, so the complimentary earplugs were a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. Guests could get much more enjoyment out of the outdoor bar area with a few thoughtful improvements. Adding covered sections would provide shelter from the sun or rain, making the space more usable and comfortable throughout the day. Amazing breakfast and great location

The Post is absolutely gorgeous and within walking distance of all of the historical sightseeing locations within Ghent. Our room was at the front of the hotel with incredible views of the cathedral.
