Excellent location, exceptional staff, very clean property.
I didn’t like the first room as it was overlooking a courtyard and was dark but the staff were very accommodating and moved us to a sea view room
The staff at the restaurant where breakfast is served are exceptional! The were so attentive and friendly-always looking out for what guests would need. The reception staff was also really friendly and helpful. I arrived late so they gave me great recommendations for where to get dinner! I’d stay there just for the exceptional service
Information about services like the gym and the spa should be volunteered to guests
- Staffs are super friendly and attentive. They take action of whatever we ask for quite immediately. - Breakfast is very good. - Rooms are specious and facilities are so good.
- Breakfast are lovely, however it could be more varieties and rotating, like adding Asian food - fried rice, porridge, noodles etc.
General Manager Bruno and Front Office Manager Soraja did their utmost best to make us feel at home away from home... Interesting guided tour in hotel-museum was given in the morning. Excellent location near Alfama and Cruise Terminal ...
One chair in the room was broken , and should have been replaced

It's bad that breakfast served from 7:30. It's too late for guests who have meetings or excursions.
The reception service was very nice, helpful and kind, the room was clean, the lobby is beautiful, and the swimming pool was clean and intimate, the facial massage was just excellent!!!
The room was located on the back side of the street, with a lot of huge noise from outside every early morning -due to garbage container collection, laundry collection, and other hotel services.There were no slippers for the spa/pool and there was no possibility of guaranteed late check-out even for an extra fee, which was a huge inconvenience when the family need that. Best hotel ever stayed in. Amazing staff so well trained and incredibly customer focused. Beautiful furnishings and colour schemes. Sound proof rooms, blackout curtains so sleep is good here. So much included / filtered water in rooms, help yourself to a glass of wine or an apple in the lounge area etc. Good advice for restaurants and fado.
Everything you would expect from a top 5 star hotel. Bruno’s welcome and service is exceptional!
