Pros (+) I had noticed the hotel from walking in the area and been drawn to it as it's old style Dutch. The rooms have been completely renovated to a high standard. Pros (+) The room was clean and luxurious. Cosy restaurant.
Cons (-) The noise from inside and outside hotel kept us up until after midnight. During breakfast we were not asked what kind of breakfast we wanted (we were served a whole array of food we did not ask for, very wasteful). Servers from the kitchen came to complain to the hotel manager (?) while I was checking in, which led to a very uncomfortable situation.

Pros (+) the hotel itself was good.
Cons (-) Staff was incredibly unfriendly except for two hotel receptionist. My boyfriend and I felt treated poorly. We got disgusted looks from the waiters all the time. We were very looked down upon. We are constantly ignored as well and on online costumer service as well.

Pros (+) The manager& staff was fantastic. So kind to us. The restaurant was very good& good value. Room was very clean. Quite modern suite- bath in the bedroom. I would absolutely return - but to a more traditional room! Great location. Ambassador& Dr W Montgomery
