Venue Setting

The Battery, a private members club located in the historic Jackson Square neighborhood of San Francisco, is the perfect venue to hold your private event, business meeting or social gathering. Housed in the noteworthy Musto Building, the club offers four individual private event spaces each offering one of a kind opportunities to host you and your honored guests. Our on-site event staff includes a full time Executive Chef, Pastry Chef and Private Event Manager, which means we have the ability to elegantly & expertly plan everything, executing your event with years of domestic & international experience behind us. The Battery can accommodate a meeting for a group as small as four, or if you’re envisioning something on a grander scale, our largest event space can accommodate up to 120 guests.

In additon to our event spaces The Battery Club includes a 14-suite luxury boutique hotel. The rooms are available for public booking. All hotel guests are considered Resident Members and have access to The Club’s facilities during their stay.

All accommodations feature hardwood floors with meticulously curated furnishings by Ken Fulk. A state of the art suite of amenities includes: 60” HDTV with connectivity across all devices, Geneva sound system, and complimentary WiFi. Bathrooms feature natural stone tile, a large tub,walk in shower, and amenities by esteemed British purveyor Molton Brown. The Battery’s minibars are stocked with a full liquor selection, mixers, and snacks chosen with an eye towards locally produced and unexpected treats. The hotel offers 24 hour front desk assistance.

Venue Features
The Scene:
Our property is set in the heart of San Francisco's financial district in a private building that contains four bars, two restaurants, 14 hotels rooms, a Penthouse Suite, and gorgeous private event spaces. A short walk to the Embarcadero and to Union Square, you can shop and dine at some of the best local spots in San Francisco. Upon entering the building you are immediately captivated by the design, art, and vibe within the walls of the club. Craft cocktails and resident DJs make any night of the week here a night to remember.
Design:
World renowned interior designer Ken Fulk did a spectacular job with the interior of the property. The Battery features a mixture of antique, rustic, modern, and custom design throughout the many spaces.

Extra Perks:
Venue rental fees include the use of our banquet equipment on site. We have cocktail tables, dining tables, flatware, glassware, dining chairs, linen napkins, passing trays, and some decor.
Celebration Locations
The Wine Cellar:
Our custom oak cellar, crafted from reclaimed wine barrels, may be utilized for intimate dinners, or meetings. Perfect for a winemaker’s dinner, or any wine focused event, the cellar holds 3,000 bottles of wine from around the world that have been hand selected by our on staff French Master Sommelier.

The Parlor:
The Parlor may be utilized for seated dinners, standing receptions, presentations & meetings. The room features a built-in Tannoy sound system & drop-down projection screen. Alabaster chandeliers & scones, antelope carpeting & Dior grey walls give off a vibe of grandeur.

The Study:
The Study may be utilized for corporate meetings, smaller high-end dinners or may function as an additional “spill out space” for an event taking place in The Parlor. It features an 80” plasma TV for presentations and a grand vintage chandelier. Simply put, the most elegant boardroom in the city.

The Penthouse:
The Penthouse may be utilized for standing residential style functions or seated dinners. The Penthouse is also appropriate for an executive retreat, meeting or team building function. The unit features a 19 foot service bar for private events. The outdoor terrace may also be utilized for events and features a Viking grill, spa & reflection pool. The perfect place to seal the deal, ring in the New Year or pop the question.
